996 Turbo Cab drinking oil
I picked up my dealer's first turbo cab last September and I was prepared for high oil consumption, but not *this* high. The car has been eating 1 - 1.5 quarts every 300 - 400 miles. I have had it in to the dealer on numerous occasions with no response from Porsche yet.
The dealer told me that Porsche said 1 quart every 680 miles is normal, but I seem to be exceeding even that. I've had the dealership monitor oil consumption on the car and they have sent Porsche another message, we're just waiting to hear back.
Has anyone else seen similar oil usage on their turbo? There are no visible leaks and I don't get any smoke other than the initial puff of white smoke every now and then on startup but only for a few seconds.
