Photo's of the X7 concept leaked prior to launch at Frankfurt. This makes the Bentayga look like a well resolved and tasteful design which is quite a feat.

Hopefully this is just a concept and it will be better in real, because this is ugly inside and out. Sat in a black on black Bentaya yesterday and what a really superb interior. Except for R/R there might be nothing out there that good. Astons aren't than nice.

Funnily enough my first thought looking at it was also Ssangyong. I would imagine the production car that follows it is not going to differ substantially. The front detailing will likely be altered but it seems BMW are intent on having huge kidney grilles that are visible to the astronauts in the ISS when they gaze out their observation windows heart

It looks fine for what is, which is a glorified minivan. The backend is too busy, but otherwise it's okay. Audi played it safe with their Q7 update and the result is blandness, but none of the vehicles in this segment are very impressive. yes

It looks like they did...... a bad Chinese style copy of an XC90 from the side which is ironic now that Volvo are Chinese owned. They also threw in the side gills on the front wings and the continuation lower body bright work insert from a Range Rover Vogue for good measure

Remove the weird L shaped trim pieces and it's not bad. Reminds me of those ugly Mercedes gill/fin things they stuck on the side of their sports cars.

If they produce it with that grill, or anything close to it, I will stop buying any BMW (currently have two, a 3 sedan and an X-4). I would not want to be seen driving anything even remotely associated with this monstrosity.

We're lucky Porsches don't have grilles, so we escaped the grille size inflation trend and the resulting gaudiness...

The front is particularly ugly , maybe Bmw designers were inspired by the latest Lexus SUVs with their giant front grilles. Nice interior though.
