    I agree that the E46 looks dated...
    But that doesn't mean that the E92 ain't ugly....
    Let's hope the final version looks good in the flesh.

    The HUGE air intake area is needed because of the new engines output. You want 500hp? Then you need enough airflow thru the radiator to keep it cool in all driving conditions.

    White or black is best for this car. Any other color will just hilite its chaotic assortment of lines and creases.

    So its Black Trout or White Trout.

    Whatever color, I am sure it is a rocketship sedan for 4 people and their luggage.

    I must agree, it looks percipitously better in white and I'm guessing black will mask many of these design flaws.

    But what the HELL is going on with the side view mirrors?!?!? Absolutely henious

    It is a PS of Phoenix Yellow Metallic. This color will not be available for new M3.

    They're making the new M3 for the corporate type person - sounds like they're removing all the "wild" colours.

    My cousin had this color on his E46 M3. It actually suited his driving style quite well .

    I know, un freekin' real. BMW says they've been wind-tunneled to produce least drag and max airflow.

    They neglected to mention what they did to them AFTER the windtunnel testing.

    BTW, few info about brakes-they are 360mm fronts and 350mm rears with SINGLE caliper...

    ...and you shoud see the discussion on few BMW forums. They are not happy with the weight in German Press PDF about M3.
    Weight is presented there in EU1 standard 1655kg(with 68kg for the driver and 7kg of luggage)so, that means that actual weight is 1580kg!!

    Some people are really funny...
