ALDO:I'm fascinated with the technology. How the electrical power works with the combustion engine. I would like to give this car a chance.
Same here. I think Honda did a great job technically and the new NSX is a worthy successor to the original car.

NSX is a 918 lite, pure and simple.
It will be very different than anything on the market right now.
I have gone over the specs and conversations with relevant personal, it will be a considered a bargain at 1/10 of what a 918 cost while providing 75% of what the 918 offers..

Here we go - that's what I said couple of threads ago. I too think, that the NSX concept and price is uncomparable. Great specs, amazing tech - light years ahead of any 991

That is quite an endorsement. I may have to take a second look at this car.

I had a good look at Geneva, and like it a lot. The front has quite a bit of busy current corporate identity stuff going on but overall it looked vey good to me. Well-proportioned and very neat from most angles. Will look pretty elegant in a dark colour I think.

I read a first test by a Swiss car journalist. He was very impressed. And saying : this car is not about Ring times.
I do find the car very interesting. If only I can get used , or not see , that front who looks likes a civic ...

But that almost makes it exotic, no? In EU there are so few Japanese cars on the roads compared to over here, I am surprised anybody really knows what a Civic looks like.

In Switzerland Japanese cars are very well represented. Probably equal if not more then German cars.

A bit harsh, no?
Front number plate could improve the look.

Harsh, but more subtly, no?
Definitely more subtle.
But on a more serious note, I think the new NSX looks great from behind and viewed from the side as well.
The front is a bit busy, with its body colour, gloss black, chrome and mesh elements. Reminds me of the messed up fronts of all current McLarens (570 is best in this respect, actually in all visual aspects ).
But whereas McLaren has a problem with the styling, I think with the NSX it's mainly a problem of too many different materials at the front. Less would be more in this respect.

LOL. 18 months is an eternity in today's car market. I can't figure out why people order normal cars that take two years to get. Car is old by the time you get it and new stuff is already available and announced elsewhere. It's one thing if you're getting something really special, but it's another if it's a normal production car.
Wait 18 months for your NSX, or buy one off the lot in 20 months, or buy a used one for under MSRP in 12 months.
