    I like the looks also, but test results in recent issue of German AMS are nothing special. In fact with 0-200km/h in 18.9s car is slow...

    Wow, you sit DEEP down in the car. The guys head barely shows above the door. lol I know it is entirely subjective, but the engine note wasn't particularly good, I didn't think.

    And the reviewer is an [beep]. "People who like convertibles don't really like driving." What an amazingly dumb-ass comment.

    His comment obviously isn't completely correct, but his point makes a little sense. While driving a roadster people tend to look for different qualities in their driving experience. When he says "driving" he means actually driving the car fast, whereas roadster driving traditionally means the experience of being in the car, with the dynamics of the car not necessarily being the most important part of the experience.

    Of course this is by no means a rule, but it's not like it's an uncommon concept. It's the idea behind basically every roofless musclecar ever built.

    I couldn't agree with you more. The AM Roadster is a fabulous car. Is it a track car like Porsche's? No. But who in the hell cares other than wannabees?
