    Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

    Took some pics this morning.

    Here they are!

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

Just some humour that occured along the way. We were driving on an uphill where a group of cyclists were training and they had a safety car behind them and all.

The safety car doesn't make any room for the other cars and they simply have to overtake him and the cyclists.

He moved immediately out the way off the road when he heard the Murci downshift

The one cyclist then turns around and immediately alerts his partners and they whip out the cellphones while looking backwards going up a steep uphill trying to take in a few pics before we overtake.

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

that straight in front there must've been fun with the lambo.

Envy is a deadly sin, but i'll admit i'm envious Mike

    Awesome pics

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

Mike the LP has no license plate?

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

mike, isn't it dangerous driving these exotics in SA. aren't you afraid of being a victim of a pre-planned target?

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

Mike offtopic---> Is your break in period limited to 4k rpm and 120kmh. And how many miles

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

Mike, one of these days your employer is going to catch you taking pics of his cars and posting it on the internet!!!

Thats actually a good question. I had heard SA is one of the worst in the world for car jackings

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

He bought ML63 for this.. Full of body guards in it and following Mike.

Not if you live in a gated community away from urban cities.

Been there, done that... A couple years ago 6 heavily armed black males broke into my home while my whole family was there. Tied us all up and they almost beat my father to death, he is fully recovered now thank goodness.

Was a traumatising event, but I'm not going to let people like that put a cap on how I should live my life!

Yeah, 4k RPM but the dealer didn't say anything about speed limit? The car can do 150-160kph in 6th gear at 4k rpm

That is true - there are about 1-2 hijackings on the road I use to goto work everyday. You just need to be precautious and try not to stop.

Also they are less likely to hijack high-end vehicles as there is no market for them. They all hijack VW Golf's most of the time.

Wow that would be traumatising! In any case, I will welcome you to Melbourne, Australia if you ever want to move to a safer place...with the proviso that you continue to buy these cars and give me a ride in them now and then.

My South African friend who now lives here says the same thing. He is worried about his BMW 3 series driving wife, but was never too worried about his Ferrari for this reason.

Yes, they don't even really "hit" E92 3-series, they mostly target E36 and earlier models

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

    mike, so tell me somthing?

do you have a pistol/gun in your glove compartment?

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

He doesn't. White citizens who carry guns for protection are treated worse than the murderers and carjackers.

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

who said Mike is white ?

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

    Great pics Mike.... more please!
I'm glad you're obviously enjoying the Lambo.

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

Mike, if you were to get shot and die in horrible pain, would any of the renteam members get a fraction of your money?

For exemple, you die, how much do I get?

What? as you said it yourself, "It's almost a manditory thing to have happen to you in SA now days anyways." So I'm just thinking about the future, you know ...

If you die, Do I get the Lp640 or the F430?

PS: I'm just kidding and I'm glad everything turned out OK for you and your family. your country is like any drop dead gorgeous chick. Beautiful and exiting but very dangerous.

Re: Photo's of my LP640 and 430 together

Mike, so is it ok to shoot someone that is attempting to jack your car? In the state of Florida it is perfectly legal to do just that
