    If the Aston Martin Rapide even had V6 engine it I would still rather have the Rapide compared to this!

    Sooo... They did what?

    Placed a 911 Turbo on a platform, then dropped a Cayenne on top of it, rear-ended the entire contraption with a 911 and then inserted new tail lights to make the car look more 'individual'... Am I right?

    If you notice the rear lights are basically 997 rear lights but 180 degrees turned, am I correct?

    the pics are too dark to make an informed opinion yet. That website has been way wrong before on what they thought the panamera would look like.

    And yes AM has the best looking line-up right now even though its just minor variations of the same theme, the vanquish.

    I am going to start a new thread with all the panamera pics so we can compare them w/o searching.

    Hmmm..it's not the most visually pleasing is it?

    The Cayenne is ugly too but it still sold well!?

    Does it matter (to sales figures) if it turns out to be fugly?

    Actually, I think the production version will be even plainer than these renditions.

    While the Rapide, is simply amazing.

    Exactly.....

    Many/most buyers aren't discerning drivers.....styling, brand image and price dominate decision....

    Have driven DB9 enough to know it's an incredibly underwhelming car in terms of dynamics, quality&elegance of interior materials and ergonomics (for both driver/passgr).....doubt Rapide will be any better.....

    S63 will prob be a difficult benchmark to beat....have no need for a sedan, but am getting an early copy to play with for a few wks in June.....

    I reckon the Rapide in heavy diguise under testing will still look the nuts!
