    Calling out a stock 997 TT in the Michigan area..

    Hey guys...

    Was wondering if there are any stock 997 TT's in the MI area that want to run my stock C6 Z06? I ran a 997 TT before but the guy with the video never got back with me. We can run from a dig and from a roll to make things fair.

    Let me know if there are any people that are willing to have some fun and get it on video for all to see...

    I am sure you have seen all the clips with different outcomes already on the net, so a question for you: How do you know the car you are going against is really stock? without the exhaust, my car looks and sounds stock but it will smoke your "stock" z06 without much effort and that's not fair. The same thing applies to the other driver, how does he know for sure your car is really stock? I am no expert so tell me how you and the other driver are going to make sure both cars are stock. Just wondering .

    Wow you are really a tough guy aren't you. Do you really think people are SCARED to race you? Your car might be faster but that really says nothing about who you are. What does speak volumes about your character is taunting people who refuse to race you. People probably have better things to do than accepting challenges over the internet. Grow up.

    The Question to me isn't which is faster I own both a 07Z and the 997TT. The problem I have is that there is a group of individuals who for some reason wander these boards with no intention of owning the car on the given board yet they are compelled to talk about one certain car and I think we know what that car is.

    The more you race your car, the more the horses (hp) falls off. In fact how many horses have you got left ? The 997TT is not jusy about straight line spd, it's about handling, refinement, pleasure from where you are coming from I guess it is hard to understand these qualities

    If you're going to act like an 8-year-old, this might not be the right place. Either back up your statements with proof or don't say anything at all. The Z06/Turbo debate had subsided a long time ago and we don't need you to dig it up again.

    We all know why I am not getting any challengers, and it is because everyone here knows that the Z06 is the quicker/faster car.

    I wont reply anymore because my intentions was just to get a friendly race, a race that is ALWAYS walked about, but hardly ever executed. I will be waiting for a PM or a response.

    Agreed. This is one veery good argument for limiting membership on Rennteam. Taunting members and trying to provoke them into a street race should be unacceptable.

    If you are really in for a race meet me at Milbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire monday morning 9am UK time. make sure you bring a tow truck along cos you will definitely need it !

    Easyrider, he definitely doesn't speak for all Z owners. That said you've given him exactly the reaction he wants and lowered yourself to his level with insults, name calling and lack of class you speak of

    ...and there is nothing cheap about the Z
