Can't wait for Spring....

Brilliant cab wheather today (15*C), so I enjoyed a spin in the countryside with the top down

I really missed these weekend spins during our ugly pseudo-winter (no snow + blue sky, but grey and rainy all the time - aaarrrrgghhh

)
Seems I'm not the only one - during the 150 km we spotted at least 15 P-cabs, all the drivers with a big smile on their face

I thought I'd share some pics with you

The Cayman S rims (which I use for the winter tires) look nice on the Boxey, but I can't wait to switch to the Carrera S rims + summer tires again. The winter tires are useless for a spirited drive -especially at 15*C

The 987 is my second convertible and it was a very pleasant surprise to find out just how little buffeting there is with the roof down.

It seems perfectly usable with the roof down at anything from 7*C or so upwards (probably less if you deliberately dress warmly).

Here in the UK we've gone from similar temperatures with lots of sunshine yesterday to today where it has simply rained all damned day.

I know the feeling. It was +1 today and I was out washing my 987. I cannot wait to really take it out for a fun spin with the top down! I cannot wait to put the summer rubber on!

I surely can't wait for spring....double digit negative wind chill in NY right now, and I'm going to Canada this weekend where the windchill is supposedly -40F right now!!!
