Yep, it's mine...be sure to blink your lights next time. Seems to add a bit of excitment to our rather conventional village. Its my well-justified/earned prize for succesfully making it thru bowl cancer surgery/chemo/radiation.

Where are you getting it from?? Mobile??...I searched all reasonably close Porsche dealers, but because I needed the car within a couple months, had to get it from Atlanta. What color...and too, are you in GB or down 98?

I live in MS, but my girlfriend lives in Pensacola. I love Pcola and am over here every weekend I am off. I will park the turbo in her garage. I have bought my last 4 porsches from Hennessy in Atlanta. My 997 turbo is due in sometime in March. I have bought several in Mobile too. Maybe we can all get together one day and check out the cars....

Great idea... .when you get some spare time in P'cola, send me an email to meet johnws@infionline.net I got my tt at Hennessy too, great folks to work with. Be sure they give you 4-5 qts of 0-40w oil. Thought at first only provided at Porsche dealers which was a problem because dealers cannot ship oil, but O'Reilly parts in Pensacola has finally started handling this oil. These tt's use around a quart every 1000 miles or so until the car gets 3-4000 on the clock. Looking forward to a meet....very few real Porsche enthusiats in this area.

There are too many cancers floating around these days. Scary. In my case, I've lived below my means all my life and am now looking at 50. Life is too short. Time to fullfil a 30 yr dream and darn it if the upcoming facelift doesn't have some interesting upgrades. Excuse my while I go clean out the garage.

Glad you beat the cancer----congrats...keep up the good work!! Thanks for being here with us and giving us info on your Z06. Great sports car, enjoy in good health. We all could learn from your experience and appreciate what we have more, instead of trying to prove the usual Z06 vs. 997TT debate (I'm guilty too!!).

Sometimes it baffles my mind how people manage to blow by me on the bridge and i'm already doing 10-15 over. I honestly don't feel sorry for people I see pulled over right as you get off the bridge in Gulf Breeze

tt-- tremendously enjoyable. Just had a porsche meet in Fairhope/grand hotel this past Saturday. Next time I see you or you me, lets have a short chit-chat unless caught in the ugly 98-mess back/forth to work crisis
