Since we live in the same neighborhood, may I ask you where you bought your CT? Are you satisfied with the dealership ( service, knowledge about P cars etc. )
By the way, I am still struggling with my CT. Clair thinks the car is fine and I am a little bit paranoid. we agred to call porsche's regional service rep and have the car checked. From my side I will call my P contacts in Germany to get some advice.
Let us know your impressions when you get your beauty.

I ordered mine through a new dealership in Norwell. Rietzel Porsche/Audi. Great people and really good customer service. They actually try hard to earn your trust & business unlike other big porsche dealerships in town that are out just to make a sale and move on to the next customer. I live 3 miles from a huge Porsche dealer in Boston (Let it remain nameless) but I rather drive 25 miles to Norwell and get treated like a King. I hear Clair is great also but they had an 8 month waiting list for an MY08 Cayenne so I went to Norwell.

Same experience with the downtown dealership. Only big is not enough. Service is not very good there. Clair is very good, even so we have this "discussion" on my CT. My lease is still going for another year, by then the situation will be radically different. By then everybody is waiting for the Panamera. But I will stick to a CT. First year cars are always risky and if Panamera, I want a four wheel.

I can second the comment regarding first year ownership. I bought one of the early Cayenne S and it has been a nightmare during the warranty period. But even worse, once my car hit 50,000 miles the car began to totally unravel. First, the Carden shaft failed ($1000); then the water pump ($600) and now I have been told all the ignition coils need to be replaced ($650). This has all happened within 5000 miles after the warranty expired.
