i would never order the wing too. i agree with rossi , i dont think we will see a 2wd lambo with audi in command.
god bless audi for taking over lambo... BTW on lambo power forum a bunch of guys converted their gallardo's to RWD by removing the front shaft , a hour job. but again i would never do it , the roadholding of the car is perfect, while remaing fun to drive since the max traction sent to the front wheels is 30% , just perfect IMO

Well, there surely two opinions wether to favour AWD or not. Certainly it depends on the weather: in the dry, there simply is no need for AWD, if the car is balanced correctly. When I think about the grip of my F430 on dry roads, I wonder who ever needs AWD. Of course that changes in the wet, although I have to say that the F430 really behaves well on wet roads, when you have in mind that you have about 500hp and you don't have a chance to bring them all to road under these circumstances. Then there is the disadvantage of AWD concerning weight. But then I learn that the AWD of the Gallardo only weighs about 42kg. So as a conclusion a well engineered RWD surely is sufficient when you don't use your sportscars on a daily basis. But if you do, AWD (again well engineered) is a great thing to have.

you are probably right rossi, the reason i am happy with AWD is that i use my car everyday, and in lebanon we have the worth asphalt in the world , he is very slippery . can you imagine that in my gallardo on full throttle in 4th gear on dry roads the stability management lights flash..

Press releases. Pics come in very very high resolution and I resize them down. PM me if you need sth larger than those 1600x1200 pixels
