    Champion Wheels and Techequipment Bar on GT-3

    Just completed , today. Customer is very excited to start
    tracking in different venues. Here are some pics.

    what size wheels are these? and did you use the stock michelins?

    They somehow dont look right in the back. how do the harnesses work with these seats?

    12/ 19 305/30 ZR 19 Michelin Pilot Sport II

    These are his street tires; he'll use the Sport Cup for
    some Track stuff. You could use the Cups on these wheels,

    The rear tires are right at the edge of the rear fenders.
    No Spacers.... The harness's rap around the harness bars;
    the excess is rolled up and tie rapped. that's why it might look strange. It works perfectly.

    Yes, as with TEE1, how do you use those harnesses with the stock seats?

    Too bad these wheels don't fit the narrowbody.

    I prefer the looks of the OEM wheel, though lighter unsprung weight would be nice...

    You use the harness as a 4 point harness. It does have the crotch point, but with stock seats you don't use it. Those mag wheels are hot... but basically the same as the aluminum ones we used on this GT3 just without a lip...

    Whoa. You realize that using this harness as a 4 point is not only ridiculous but unsafe. Nobody in their right mind would do this. Foremost, the shoulder straps will not be routed properly, b/c they have to go around the seatback. But most importantly, it's long been discoverd that 4 points as a general rule are unsafe due to submarining issues. Scroth solved this issue with breakaway webbing in the shoulder strap to allow torso rotation upon impact, which in turn prevents submarining.

    You guys have provided your customer unsafe advice. I hope he has the sense to swap out the seats for some shells.

    I agree.. if you have the rollbar, why not get the GT3 seats?
