    Calling Texans fellows

    Has anyone tried this ? Pros and cons if so please.

    Also if interested maybe we can do it all together, just a thought.

    I'm tempted to attend one of them but want to see if anyone else is interested so we can do it as a group. Should be fun .

    Lucky begga. If I lived out that way you could have counted me in for sure. I wouldn't do the one with the AMV8 (as gorgeous as it is) as your likely to be walking home...

    As promised, we're coming to Texas in july, I'll send you a PM with more details, and this is something I will definitely discuss with my wife.
    I hope to at least get her on a couples tour, since it includes a Aston Martin

    They say "Aston Martin V12 Vantage", but I assume they mean the DB9

    Guys -

    Please follow up with a summary if you do this. It'd be great to know what liberties they allow. I am not sure that 30 minutes in each car - driven at 55MPH would be worth a lot - especially if its a group tour. But even the 2500HP package is not all that much money - especially for a full day of fun! It all boils down to how much fun it is...

    Yeah I would be very careful about having to drive slowly and all. That would suck if they were very strict. I've driven all those cars so I wouldn't spend the dough personally. I'll tag along in my Z06 though.

    That's a good point, if you have to drive behind a "pace car" on a flat/boring road, then it's not worth the money IMO.

    DFW Drive Your Dream here. The tours consist of all the vehicles following the tour managers car. The tour route is carefully chosen to allow the drivers to experience the car fully. They consist of highway cruising, long sweeping corners and twisty back roads. The routes were developed by our Tour Director, who has raced in SCCA Solo II and Club Racing. While Texas isn't generally known for great driving roads, we're changing people's opinions one tour at a time!

    We also offer group rates for parties of 5 or more.
