    Track experience with BBS LM wheels?

    I have been offered as knew BBS racetrack LM wheels for half the price : BBS racetrack LM 8.5 X 19 E50 and LM 11 X 19 E50. I would use them with my Targa 4S only on the track with Pirelli Pzero corsa.
    Have somebody experience on the track with these wheels mounted on a 997 and maybe on a C4S?

    Wheels shouldn't make too much difference but tyre choice does, if only for track use why Pirelli corsa's ( my prefered choice is michelin cups)

    Carlos ,have u got some pics of theese wheels ?
    You must have the same OT ....or you need spacers .

    AFAIK not bust i.e not "insolvent". I think they only filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Hopefully, they can ride out this financial difficulty

    I have raced for years with Pirelli slicks (Ferrari challenge Europe north) and Pirelli P zero C (Porsche Cup Switzerland). Il like Pirelli tires because their service and logistic in Switzerland is very good. I have no experience with Pirelli Corsa and will try them on the 5. April on racetrack Dijon (France). Next time I will follow your advice and try Michelin Cup (only idiots do not change opinion )

    Thanks Sergini for the comment. Here a pic of the web page of BBS about these wheels (LM 169 VA and LM 199 HA) for the 997.
    Gnil and myself are tracking in Dijon on thursday 5. April, just before Easter. Why don't you join us? The track is very fast and in the middle of the Burgundy wine region. You can mix it with a spin in this wonderfu region.
    I you are interested, PM me as soon as possible with your e-mail address, I might get a place for you (only 30 touring cars are allowed and the quality of the pilots will be quite high, because it is the day before official races).

    I do not know how they work, but I would trust BBS to be good rims and they look good. If they are cheaper then the stock P ones, why not go for them ?!
    Looking forward to the Dijon track day.... but with my Bridgestone tyres I will not be able to follow you
