Top Gear / Clarkson - CGT vs SLR
Read the article in a shop, so cant repeat in any detail...
Both cars thrashed the old record on the top gear test track, I cant remember what held the record, was it the Zonda?
CGT was faster, 'The Stig' said it was the fastest thing he has driven on that track - which the lap times proved.
Clarkson obviously prefered the SLR (he's an SL55 owner), saying it is 95% of the performance, but so much easier to drive. He spun the CGT and said it was very easy to lose the back end if it went when entering a corner. He certainly praised the CGT too though and the final words were about it being the hardest choice he's ever had to make.
Hopefully someone will scan it in so you can see it for yourselves.
Cant wait to see this on the TV show, new series starts tomorrow I think.
