    TAKING DELIVERY ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

    TAKING DELIVERY ON MONDAY I HAVE ALREADY BOOKED MY FLIGHT TO GO AND BRING MY BABY HOME.... MY WIFE SAYS I AM SICK BECAUSE I DID NOT EVEN BEHAVE LIKE THIS AT THE BIRHT OF MY THREE CHILDREN (OUPS!!!)

    HOW TO EXPLAIN TO HER WHAT IT IS TO BE A PORSCHE MANIAC????

    Florent, maybe it's just due to your excitement but you should check your keyboard
    Porsche pregnancy should be dealt with more understanding from the wife

    Do you pick up the baby in Athens (I think we haven't seen yet pics of a Porsche in front of the Akropolis)

    Florent, many congrats in advance!

    I know the excitement/impatience/pain you are feeling right now. We've all been through it. But it'll be worth it - collecting YOUR new Porsche is one of the most special feelings.

    You've seen so many photos of OTHER people's cars. Finally, you are going to see YOUR car!!!! It may take some time for this to sink in. Like me, you've waited a long time and it takes time to digest that you don't have to wait anymore!

    Savour the trip to collect it taking lots of photos to mark the trip. Believe me, you will look back at those photos time and time again in the months ahead!

    Many, many congrats!! And yes, please take some stunning photos besides the landmarks in your part of the Mediterranean...

    Make sure you do these things:

    Vary engine speed ALOT on drive home (I was shifting every few minutes on the highway drive).

    Delivery day is very exhausting at dealer: FOCUS on inspecting the car and details of car!! Sales guy will distract you from this (intentionally or, more likely, unintentionally). Mine had a broken CD player and I didn't discover this until half way home.

    Have FUN on the drive home and when you get the car home. My advice: taking possession of the car is NOT fun; lots of work to do.

    I am jealous. Congratulations! Enjoy it even more for all those folks out here who wish they were picking up their GT3 on Monday...like me. lol

    Florent, we'd better have a party with Altak as I live only 10 mins away from the dealer. Mine is a C2S, which model is yours? Anyway congrats and you'd better take it easy. Wanna know what to do next: get the ab-fab swissol products to start the concours d'elegance kind of washing, cleaning waxing all the time. It worths the investment -a complete care set about 600 Euros- compared to your P-car high standards of painting/manufacturing. And let your wife be taking care of your kids since you'll have no time to spend but on your P-car.
