Bottas was asked to trade positions with Lewis so Lewis could attack Kimi and Vettel.
He was promised that Lewis would give back the position if in the end he wouldn't overtake the ferrari's.
Lewis couldn't overtake and gave back the position in the end, even though Bottas had fallen back quite a bit.
However much (unexpected to me) sportsmanship from Lewis this was, to me it left a bittersweet taste... all this calculated switching of position, rather than just fight fight fight for a position... I don't know.

I agree , Bottas was falling behind further when Hamilton was allowed to pass. I think Hamilton would have got pass Bottas anyway tbh because as I say Bottas was getting even more slower..
I am no LH fan but this was a funny one. Obviously they just got LH to do it because Bottas was promised the hand back..

I think it was like Riciardo said: max lost in one corner and tried to get back in the next, but overcooked it. Stupod mistake and he shouldn't have. I did not expect him to apologize to be honest, as he has been very harsh in the past. Was pleasantly surprised to see that he did. I think he has matured a lot this season. Regarding tne penalties... Maybe it was fair (he did take out another driver), but I have seen far worse actions this season that did not get penalized at all...
