The question is will Ferrari keep the Dino in the same current line up look or use it as a springboard for the next design direction? Of course it will have to use some of the original Dino design cues. Great sketches Farina, this will probably be pretty close.

I rather would prefer a midengined car as well, but this would be a threat for the F430/successor, so we will have to put up with a Ferrari SLK.

In fact the car will have slightly more horsepower than the new Maser Coupé, which is said to have 450 hp. So with approximately 460 hp and a price tag of 120k Euro you can't really complain about the Dino being a poor man's Ferrari. The only big question will be if Ferrari gets the design right.

I think the Maser will be more of a GT-car whereas the Dino will more tend to be a 911-rival. But then the new Maserati Coupé is said to be one of the greatest designs ever seen whereas the Dino should look somehow clumsy.
In the end you may be right and the myth will make the difference, but also a myth should not be overstrained.

Any idea when we'll see the new Masarati? I have a softspot for both the brand and front-engined convertibles (I'm assumung that will be good looking as well), so this constant teasing is becoming hard to bear
