    Really? me again? Smiley

Didn't quite have time to log in and read the forum as I am at my track the last 3 days working on my skills.

Had Kees Nierop did one on one with me for 2 days.

400L of fuel, 1 and a half set of Pirelli slicks later, I knock 4+ seconds off my personal best, now only 4 second off a pro in my car.  And my previous best was already one of the quickest around my track among members. Best use of fossil fuel ever!

Almost at a point where I have to slot myself with the Radicals. If. I go out first with the car group, I will get 3 clean laps before hitting traffic. Radicals are lapping on average 10 seconds faster than me and the leaders would just about catch me on a 8 lap session if I go right after their last car of the group.

Berlin has more sun hours. But the tower isn´t ideally for collecting sun beams. I have made a quick approximation. I think that in Berlin you have 1600 hours the sun shining,

In Hvar we have about 2800 and in 2003 it was 3060h.

Does the coach ride passenger (if there is even a passenger seat installed) as well, or does he only look at data / video?

Re: Porsche Mission E...the future of Porsche?

In my experience, Berlin has about 17.75 hours of sunlight per year. They need to somehow introduce rain power.

Yeah I got a passenger seat installed.

He rode shotgun with me for a session to assess, then I rode with him one session to learn.

After that I drive solo and we go over telemetry after each session.

Last time Kees instructed me was many years ago in Mission.

I carried too much speed at the last turn, got scared and lifted, made a 360 going out onto the long straight and almost hit the side wall.  All I remember him saying was Brake, Brake, Brake...

I found it hard to listen to instructions while concentrating to drive at the same time.

He stayed silent while riding shogun, just observed. During the solo runs he put on the radio headset and stand at strategic spots make comments. I don't mind the radio chatter, but just don't expect me to find the radio button to reply while in the middle of the corner. Smiley

    Also, A/C everywhere.

Just yesterday, we had only around 23-25°C in Bavaria but the weather was muddy, very unpleasant (happens very often here, especially during or after great heat) and I had 26°C in our bedroom (daughter even 27°C).

People started installing A/Cs over here but it moves slowly and costs a fortune (compared to comparable systems in the US for example). Installer asked for 24k EUR to add an A/C system to my entire house, not worth it for a couple of warm weeks per year. My son is the only lucky one: My mother lives next door (we have a second small house "attached" to our big one) and she has A/C (she is over 80 and it gets really hot sometimes). When she opens the door between our houses, the cold air goes into my son's room. Probably the coldest room in our house in summer (23°C when the rest of the house has 26-27°C). Smiley

Mission-E prototype in the flesh from Norway! Rumors says that Porsche will offer 3 different battery pack sizes and that the doors on the production car will be normal doors instead of the suicide doors.

Yeah, I LOVE the looks of this car; cabin fwd design, powerful rear, Porsche design... Put some nicer wheels on it and it looks gorgeous.

I know this is weird but I actually quite like those wheels.

My issue with the car is that it should be a 2 door.

You are aware that this is still the prototype shown to the public?

The real deal will have a "cleaner" design (according to our sources), which probably translates into removing everything in the design which is actually attractive. Smiley Smiley

I doubt that the final product will look 1:1 like the prototype and I also doubt the rims will make it...

Well, Porsche does have a habit of introducing cars which very much resemble the prototypes. I remember the Carrera GT and 918 prototypes, where the final product was only marginally different from the proto. But you do have a point, for the 918, the ugly proto wheels never really made it :-)

Re: Porsche Mission E...the future of Porsche?

I also like the wheels. I believe Porsche need to be bold with the design and stick with what they did with the prototype. If they dilute the design I think that’s a v big mistake.

I know but since they need to make this car appealing to a broader customer base, it will be clearly diluted (less playful).

It will keep it's flowing lines but with a bit more pragmatism.
