Carlos from Spain:x2, my favorite Ferrari as well
That's really difficult for me to say. I wondered for many years what the fuss was about a turbo charged Ferrari, should they not be V12s I felt? Then I drove one, and the rest is history. Though I am still with Enzo, the best Ferrari is the next one. I hope to post photos of my F40 sitting on Fiorano in September. now that sends chills down the spine.

For me its easier because of certain bias I admit, the year it came out, an family friend bought one and gave me a ride, I was something like 16 years old, it felt like a space rocket compared to any other car, and so raw, will remember that first contact forever. Also its design was nothing like it at the time and for me it's unique, timeless...

Agreed - still looks great today .
Easily holds its own in current company:
Not overshadowed went sent to the back either

Growing up I only liked two Ferraris . The Daytona and the F40 , the later being still my favorite of all . So simple, functional and raw . Not sure the ownership is great but nothing beats it's look and purpose . The only time I was at the track and there was one , it had to stop rather soon as it was overheating like crazy .

I have always loved the F40, though I have never been close to driving one. I guess it goes back to being 15 years old when it came out, and the fact that this was (to me) the super car of its time. I never liked the design of the 959 on the other hand.
A few months back I saw this F40 at a racetrack and was puzzled with the flappy paddles. Sorry for the lacking photo quality.
Really like these interviews of Nicola Materazzi by Davide Cironi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlX-kgJuzxU
