    documented porsche 944 turbo engine rebuild...........

    I found this probibly 2 year ago and i wondered if it was still online, because not long ago i tried to search for it and i'm sure it had dissapeared well i've found it again.

    A bloke brought a 944 turbo and the engine started knocking so he and his porsche mechanic friend stripped the engine over 8 months and rebuilt it.

    its got pictures and everything and i find it an interesting read.....

    I enjoy reading theses, its nice to do something which you dont have to rush and you can take your time.

    I enjoy repairing my vr6, i have done all oil changes myself and my previous golf mk2 gti did 211000 miles before the gearbox went and i scrapped it, but the engine was still strong.

    I enjoy washing and waxing, theres only a few people out of the street who do this, the rest dont care, and i'm probibly the only person who checks their oil neary everyday

    Even though it doesnt use oil i still like to know how much is in there!

    Same with me. It just scares me that it usually takes more time and effort than intended in the first place.

    Right now I'd only consider a light rebuild of a motorcycle, since I am limited in time and space. But there are so many other nice things to enjoy in life, some of them having two legs...

    It's not mine but somebody on the internet...

    I enjoy finding technical articals on the net as info comes in handy when i do get a porsche, at the moment i'm trying to get a different line of business going, i'm starting to strip cars for parts and buy and sell vw and other car parts.

    and hopefully my income will be greater than it is now..
