This is going to be a sad weekend...

LP640 is about to arrive and I have to make room. Going to be taking the SL65, Noble M400, Audi RS4 and maybe the Cayenne Turbo as trade-in's for the car this weekend Farewell, it has been an awesome experience owning these fine automobiles. Here's to them

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Was'nt your LP640 due in january

And why are you bringing in so many cars, the Lambo's not as wide as it needs multiple garages is it

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Mike - Will you miss the Noble very much. What are your parting impressions of it?

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

    Mike,

Take something else instead of the M400, you'll miss it.

    But all good, enjoy it.

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

But you just bought the Audi RS4, didnt you like it

oh how sad...how will you make it through the weekend?

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Mike keep the Noble , it is a special car

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

I have no such problems. I guess I'm lucky.

The LP640 surely is a very special car, but I'm not sure if I would change it for a SL65 and a Noble and a RS4.

Me neither. I'd either keep the 65 or the RS4.

I hope he changes cars at least everyday, then.

    Maybe even twice a day.

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

If you need some room that badly, I can help. For a free SL65, RS4, M400 and Cayenne Turbo, I'm even willing to learn how to drive on the wrong side!

Yes, but I made a special agreement with the dealer to have them traded in now as to minimize the loss in trade in value because of year models of the cars. At least it will give me more storage room

Yes, I had the RS4 for a couple months now - but I'm starting to see too many Also been back and forth to the dealer with minor problems. I think I got a dud! Normally Audi makes very reliable cars...

Thanks ha! It will be tough to see them go

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

If you have to sacrifice in order to get the LP640, I would also do it.

The SL65 has to be a great car, but there are too many SL's on the road. the 65, has to be "wicked" accelerations, but I think its not a FUN car at all, at leat my opinion.

About the cayenne turbo, I think its the best time to letting it go, as we all know the new facelift will decrease prices for the mk1, PLUS as you know you have a couple of SUVS more left ! , so no probs at all

The RS4, I remember the pics you posted some time ago, and it was very nice, it has to be a quick/powerfull and comfort car to drive, but then at the end of the day you see lots of A4 very similar to yours(of course not exactly), it also happens here.

The only one I would probably keep would be the noble, it is a kit car, very rare, and has amazing performace, but then again, we are talking of an LP640....I think its one of the most desired cars right now, along with the 997gt3(imo ) and I would give any car to have one of those two.
Other than, when did you purchased the noble?, I think some time ago, may be its time to sell it, and just wait for the beast ...LP640, I would install those capristo exhausts, to make the car just more unique. Each time you get on it, see it, and hear it, I bet you forget of the noble, cayenne, sl64 and rs4

I think its a great move Mike !!!!!, whatever has to be done to get that BEAST !

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

You are doing the right move: less cars but higher quality.

    Good luck!

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Getting rid of my Boxster to get a GT3..... Not the same league but very sad all the same!! The Lambo is lovely - maybe this will whet your appetite a little more and ease the pain!!

I got the Noble last year March, so it has been about just over a year and a half.

Not to worry, I will definately be putting some kind of aftermarket exhaust on the 640

Precisely! I'd rather have less cars, but more exhilirating to drive Plus keeping all of them clean etc. is becoming quite a hassle.

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Considering the rest of your automotive arsenal, the SL, RS4 and Noble going away will probably be no great loss.

Play with the Exige S for some more than look at this:

Congrats on the soon to arrive Lambo!

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Sad..but not only will you have more space garage, cars to pay the new toy, but you will have space in your mind to think about the next few cars to get in 2007 !

Sadly I am not comming to SA this winter ( your summer) ... but next time I am arround I hope to shake hands with you

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Mike, I saw a LP640 in London last week. It is an amazing looking and sounding car. One of my friend has a 2003 Murcie here, but the LP640 looks much more aggresive and dare I say sound even better! I am not a fan of the SL65 or Cayenne Turbo, so no loss there. And seeing you already have the Lotus, it compensates for the Noble. But RS4 is one car I do like for everyday use, but I understand when it comes to minor problems. I traded in my Cooper S after a few months too for the same reason. Congrats Mike!

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

Our condolences go out to you bud be strong Now make sure you get a good camera and take lots of pics next month

Re: This is going to be a sad weekend...

I think its good how you are experiencing so many different cars, driving them for awhile then moving to something new. There are only so many years in your life.

Well Mike since you have to go a whole month w/o your cars, I guess you will be like Britney and just go w/o your underware!
