Thanks for the kind words guys
The house in the background isn't mine, mine is behind the photographer. Once we finish up landscaping I hope to have some better shots on the driveway and in front of the garages.
I had a 360 F1 and vowed after that experience that I would never buy another F1-style transmission. When the Gallardo launched I drove it both in 6-speed and e-gear transmissions, but I didn't like the Gallardo enough back then to add it to the stable.
The changes Lamborghini made in '06 piqued my interest and once they introduced the spyder I knew I had to give it another try. I drove an e-gear Spyder and a 6-speed coupe, falling in love with the Spyder but hating the e-gear. The shifts weren't very smooth and in my opinion not well executed at all, plus as I remembered from my 360 experience, it's just not as fun unless you're on a track. So I ordered a 6-speed Spyder and couldn't be happier with my decision.
I've got a lot of work to get done this week but I hope to be able to put some decent miles on the car this weekend. Does anyone know what the official break-in period is for these cars? The manual only mentions break-in for the brakes and tires, but nothing for the engine. Just to be on the safe side I'm keeping it under 4000 - 5000 RPM until I figure it out (but man is that hard).
I'll be more than happy to answer any questions and definitely post more pictures as time goes on. I ordered this thing back in April and I've spent the past several months scouring all messageboards for good Lambo pics, so I definitely want to contribute.
Thanks again for the kind words, here are a couple more pics
Another unplanted bush, hopefully it will go in before the end of the week:
A few more unplanted bushes with more planted bushes, see I am getting some work done on the house (you can see the corner of the house on the right of the picture):
Have a great day
