Car Storage

Best indoor car cover? Garage is former cow barn (for real) and has lots of dust.

Using Porsche battery charger, does it plug into cigarette lighter and NOT power outlet in passenger foot well? What's best way to run cord into car?

If your footwell socket allows the red light on the charger to go on when car is parked (like mine) you're fine.

I've one for my Boxster that is official Porsche cover but isn't stretchy and was about us$100. So, somewhere, there's an official Porsche indoor (lightweight) cover _other_ than the one on the above link.

Notch on door seal

There is a semi-circle notch on the bottom driver's door seal (say 10" from the right edge or so). That is the spot the maintainer cord should pass.

I offered this last winter and I'll go out on a limb again, I can drop by your places and start and drive your cars for you. I don't charge too much. (Just air and a hotel).
