Re: Aston Martin DBS
It is 0-60, not 0-62, so 4 seconds may be valid.
Still...AM builds beautiful cars but nothing more (yet).
It may change with the DBS but right now, I'm not impressed.
Of course AM builds sporty cars too, thats not the point but if a AM with a couple of horses more than a 997 Turbo for example needs a couple of seconds longer for the 0-200 kph acceleration, not to speak about the 0-300 kph acceleration where the AM Vanquish V12 (I think...) was over 20 seconds slowlier. 20 seconds for a car which is much more powerful, not to speak about the price tag. I even won't mention winter driving capabilities, etc.
Bottom line is: Aston Martin has never build so beautiful and performant cars before and this is really a good thing. Unfortunately their products, though absolutely great in technical design and of course visual design, are more for the older people among us. I may consider a AM when I'm 60 or so, right now I would stick with Porsche, Lamborghini or Ferrari. Just my personal opinion.
Btw: if somebody starts now with the argument "...but James Bond is driving AM", I
