Rossi:Wonderful video, lovely car and delightful person.
The first time I ever saw a Balboni Edition Gallardo was at Pebble Beach, then the driver exited the car and it was Valentino himself - seemed like a very cool guy

I've been working with him together some years ago 2-3 time per year, Valentino is one of the kindest persons in the car business!
It was great fun driving cars from the Lamborghini museum (Miura SV, Countachs, 350GT & 400GT,...) and also Gallardo Superleggera, Murci LP640 and even Reventon with him.
I remember well when one of my customers was complaining about his Murcielago (580PS) to be not fast enough and Valentino came to Austria and testdrove this specific customer car together with the owner on Austrian streets (highway & country road).
He hit >330km/h with the Murci, the problem was that the owner didn't rev high enough and because of this the rpms went down after up shifting into the next gears and so the car was fine, just the driver wasn't able to drive that beast properly.
Valentino was so humble not to tell that to the owner but he explained it to him very calmly and both parted ways very happy... ;-)
Another story I'll never will forget was when we were doing the shakedown/ preparation drive for the Ennstal Classic in a Miura SV and suddenly a Porsche 997.1 4S was tailling him in a very aggressive way.
So Valentino let him overtake and then he was showing that guy what real driving on country roads is really about...without exceeding any speed limits but driving very controlled and without any dramatic moves on the steeting wheel the "smart" Porsche driver gave up and let him pass again
Afterwards we met Walter Röhrl and both were chatting like little boys about their car experiences...
