Wow they are both beautiful colors. Thank you all for you pictures and comments. I've ordered black on black. Being my first Porsche I feel this is a good choice as I always envisioned my Porsche to be black.

That's the thing, back may look impressive but midnight blue really IS gorgeous. And it looks great with a black interior, especially with touches of aluminium - makes it all look high tech and classy. That was the combo for my 996 C4S

great looking car! And I love the regular S wheels, which I have also. I don't like any of the other optional wheels as much and I would have paid extra for these. Nice car.

May be true for toast, but doesn't have to be true for cars.

I've had a coupla black cars, but tend to go for that color just when I feel that I need a change from shades of silver.
