    Poll - Daily Driver....?

    Having originally planned on driving my new TT only a few days a week to the office, I've managed to do so everyday this week, and really have no desire to drive anything else....which means I now also have a $35K truck sitting and waiting for some attention.

    Just curious........

    My 997TT is a May build. I just purchased a new truck. I have thought about what to do in the event I get into your situation. The only answer is that I won't be able to bring myself to park the 997TT in any public parking lot, or hand it over to a parking Baboon at the valet. I am out and about quite a bit each day. The foregoing will be the justification for driving the truck. Honestly, I don't know another reason. I am buying this car to drive, not make into a closet queen.

    I find i drive it the days I am just going to the office. If i am going mutliple stops then i drive my highlander Hybrid. I have been drivng it in the nasty rain in Seattle the last two weeks . Its filthy

    I own the parking lot at my office, so I don't worry about taking the car to work.

    When I got the TT in mid july I was planning on using it only on the weekends and on using the boxster for work. It didn't happen that way at all, the TT as of today has 7500 miles on the clock. So much for a weekend car..

    You left me out of your poll I'm retired! I don't have a job.

    I have no idea what I'm going to do with my car when it arrives next summer. I certainly don't intend to drive it around town. That's what my beater's for. It'll be a toss up whether I take the M3 or TT for a "spirited" drive.

    ,i,m with over the hill...the tt is a great daily driver, but i've got bigger stuff to deal with the crazies on a daily basis...for a driving/trip car the tt is unbeatable...the m3 may feel abandoned

    My S is 69 days old and has 4750 miles.

    My 99 Boxster went 7 years with only ~54,000 miles.

    I can't bring myself to drive my living room, I mean my RX400, anymore unless I need the cargo or people space.

    This is a good problem.

    My original plans were to enjoy this car on the weekend and a couple of days a week but I find myself wanting to drive this car so much more. I only put 15K miles on my E39 M5 in 3.5 years but I can assure you that will not be the case with the TT. It just begs to be driven, can be driven daily and is sooooo much fun.

    No rain, no snow/salt...it's turbo time.

    I don't worry about getting the car wet, it won't melt. I just like having a clean, shiny supercar. These days I don't have much spare time to keep it washed and waxed very often. So I take the SUV when the weather's bad. Like all this week

    My 997TT is my daily drive, rain or shine...here in Florida we get a lot of both! My 97 993C2, which has been my daily drive for ~10 years, now only gets out once every 2 weeks.

    This will be a weekend/fun car for me. I won't let foul weather stop me from driving the Turbo. She handles GREAT in the wet. Not sure about snow/ice without the use of snow tires. RC would know.

    Ditto here.....picked up the TT a week ago, truck has not moved.

    Sorry for leaving out the lucky tards who no longer have a second home at the "office." For me it's work and toys, or no work and no toys.
