Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

I am attaching a few pics of the first Veyron I have seen in person. It belongs to record producer Scott Storch.

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

I have another pic but it won't let me load it. Crazy thing is, there were cigarette burns on the driver's side next to the window on a million dollar car.

Sloppy guys will be sloppy guys....no matter the net worth...

Suspect poor treatment of any high-end car means very little in resale value impact at trade-in time (let's face it...true OCD guys would never buy used anything )....and for most legit buyers of $1MM cars, the car prob represents a smaller % of their net worth than a Camry/Accord/whatever SUV represents for the typical owner of those "normal" cars.....

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

According to the Rolling Stones magazine he is worth 70M - almost 30M is spent on cars, boats etc. Congrats to him on making it at such a young age. Now let's see if he can stay there.

Might be difficult given his apparent preference for expensive toys

BTW: How old is this guy?

Looking at the way he treats his cars, I wouldn't attach a very long life span to his belongings. Even if the car is yours and you can do what you want with it, you should respect the time and effort that went into making it. Cigarette burns just display his low class for everyone to see.

While he has a good taste as far as cars are concerned he should definitively buy some new sunglasses

BTW: He is 33 years old

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

looks like a 17yr old punk ahah

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

    true..he looks 17...cigarette spots in a veyron..

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

He looks like a russian teenager who tries very hard to look cool...and fails miserably.
Apparently class and style don't come as standard equipment when your talent turns you into a multimillionaire.

Check this image. Talk about bad taste.
Perhaps he should spend some of his $$$ on a face transplant and a stylist?

exactly my thoughts. Just looking at these pics, I can tell the guy is full of sh*t.

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

He reminds me of a (coincidentally Russian) colleague back in business school...
(no, he was not called Alexey Vayner )

Maybe he's Jeffrey of Brunei's evil twin. Did you notice the convertible RR Phantom in one of the pictures? Yet, I don't think the new Corniche is out yet.

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

The more I see that Veyron thing, I hate it more and more. I am sorry, don't care if it has a lunar landing system, it is just a plain ugly car. It just seems like a car one would buy simply because you had the money to do it.

Very interesting read, all that dough from bangin on drums and making up rhymes. So much money in that rap stuff of which maybe 5 songs i would listen to. Not what i suspected i would read.

Extaclty. I can't understand why many of you are haters. Scott is a music producer who produces beats and tracks which are appretiated my millions of people. He deserves the same respect as anyone millionaire. His products don't pollute the earth, they don't harm animals or even hurt anyone at all. What is there to hate?

Your confusing hate with jealousy. I think many have a negative attitude because he is probably uneducated and doesn't come from a prominent european family, but has still managed to make millions and millions doing something that is looked down upon by traditional wealth...RAP Music.

I can see how some PHD who spent 1/2 his life in books and research, works 80 hours per week, would be jelous of some street punk who was in the right place at the right time.

Hey, but that is America, one day your pushing the cart, the next day you own the chain.

I completely agree with the jealousy part, I'm still surprised such things turn up in a forum like rennteam .

Though I doubt that either "traditional wealth" or "some PHD" has actually made a negative comment in this thread (can't be too sure though).. The most prominent negative poster is as usual the "dr." from denmark

Re: Veyron & Others at the Beverly HIlls Hotel

    Other people can speak for themselves but for the sake of a somewhat serious discussion i will say;

I had never heard of this guy before today, can someone give me an example of some hit he's made

Rap for the most part is garbage, imo, and just because he knows more than me, phil collins was once asked by david letterman what he thought of rap, he said it was not music. In general it pushes filth and negativity, is purchased by people in general who should be spending their money more wisely and it has a lot to do with criminal culture.

A lot of people get rich because parents don't do their job. Most of this crap and other stuff is bought by children who should be supervised better.
