    New targa 4S pics in real world

    Herre the first pics of new targa 4S. After 30 km, the feeling of freedom under panorama roof is incredible. Everibody who likes large windows at home should buy this car. On friday I will start a 3-days travel trough Switzerland and post lots of pics. I think I will be able to answer the question everibody asks on this forum : Sportscar or "911 SL" (dixit the Groom) or "practical daily driver for a soccer mom who needs a hatchback" (dixit silver bullet) . I think I know already the answer...

    Congratulations, yours is even more beautiful than the Paris Auto show car.

    Keep the photos coming, because I'm also getting this color combo early next year.

    There is no question the Targa is a genuine bonafide sportscar. But it also epitomizes the 911 spirit more than any other 911 version. Isn't it the point of the 911 that it can be used as a daily driver? I see nothing wrong with that.

    I suggested this to drewk49 in a different thread and now suggest it to you:

    I notice from picture number 6, that you haven't changed your main PCM screen. I found the information being displayed on the main screen quite boring. The "Trip" screen is more fun.

    You can actually change what is displayed on the main screen. I have mine set in such a way that the screen is split with the left side displaying driving time, distance, average mph, and fuel economy (similar to the "Trip" screen). The right side of the screen displays the radio information, temperature, date, and time.

    If you are curious this is from section 2.2.2 of the PCM manual (page 27 - US English manual).

    Be sure you are in the "Main" screen (press Main).
    Press "Set"
    Dial to "Main Display"
    Press select
    Dial to "Main Display"
    Press select
    Dial to "Trip Computer"
    Press select.

    Now press the "Main" button again. To me this is gives more pertinent information when I am driving.

    amazing car!! so much classic! you choose the interior that i would like but i couldnt here in brazil! so i decided for full beige. perfect excelent!

    i like the carrera S wheel.. but this one in your car stayed perfect.....
