LH on 1st, what a HAMMER TIME!!
66th pole position for Lewis, just two missing to equal THE GOAT (Michael Schumacher)
VB 2nd, interresting is the fact how far away both Ferrari were, KR tops SV to third position.
Maybe the rumor is true and Ferrari has been cheating with some additives (oil)?!

a bit of a controversial GP and no posts....Either F1 is dying or RT is :-) probably the former...
So let's start: did Hamilton break intentionally or did Vettel bump intentionally (as we know F1 cars are solid enough to 'push' somebody on purpose ahaha)
997.1 C4 Silver (current), 996.1C4 (sold), 997.1C2S (sold) 986.1S (sold)
FIA had analyzed dat from HAM - he didn't test break. He was as fast as the restart before. All in 3 km/h interval.
VET tried to make the second restart better and was driving more aggressive. He lost obviously his mental control, not the first time. I think, he should be penalized more then only 10 sec and 3 points. F1 driver should behave correct a lot of young people look at them.

Hamilton knew what he was doing, no doubt about it. But he kept it legal.
Vettel's reaction, there is no excuse for that. Deliberately bumping your car into another car... what a d!ck. And then his post-race interviews were even worse... If you do something stupid like that, step up and own it. If he had said "yes, I lost my temper and I did something stupid", I think the opinions on his action would be way different.
For the rest, whát a race! Poor Max taken out again... :'-(
Then who would have guessed that Stroll would take the podium! Really good for him.
Bottas; I don't know what to think of him... Is he awesome, or another Rosberg? I think he has the racer's heart, but he seems to lack the personality that makes him the object of love or hate.
I was surprised to see Nico Hulkenberg make such a rookie mistake, sorry for him.
Perez/Ocon... just a mistake by Ocon or a deliberate attempt to cut off his teammate? I am leaning in the direction of the first.
Sainz/Kvyat... Another unexpected issue with Sainz... what is up with this guy? Is cracking under pressure? Two races in a row where there is weird incidents with him that I would not have expected... May be just a tad bit too hot-blooded.
Anyway, a race full of spectacle and interesting issues, loved watching it!
Porsche, separates Le Mans from Le Boys
I cannot understand that Hamilton should get away with that - everbody can drive in a way that the guy behind you hit's you - every single day on streets you could provoke this and always would get away with it as the guy behind should be able to stop - BUT are we doing this deliberately ?? - and then saying it's not cool for the "Kids" to watch is a big joke.....
I am a Vettel supporter, what he did was unforgivable !!! As Aldo said many young folk are these races, part of being a true professional is setting the bar higher and being an example for others.
Ham should be penalised as well, looked fairly deliberate to me !!
I don't believe Vettel bumped into Hamilton intentionally; I believe he was waving his left fist at him and looking at him, and, as a result, drifted into him. It's normal to drift where you're looking (motorcyclists run into problems when they don't look where they want to go; and there are countless cases of people running into stopped police cars because they're looking at the blinking lights...)
If he wanted to bump him intentionally, I believe he would have kept both hands on the steering wheel.

Wow. Interesting analysis. I happen to disagree as I think more car control than that is fair to expect. He is a world driving champ. Multiple times.

Sky Sports showed the data from HAM's car, there was no slowing down or braking. He as the leader can dictate the pace of the restart, and that's what he did.

10s penalty is ridiculous keeping in mind that he did it on purpose and could have decided tge championship if LH would have a technical failure!
SV is calling it "driving like men" and acts like a 3year old girl, what a bummer!!
Last year he crashed on purpose into one of the RedBulls, called "Charly to f**k off" and...nothing happened, no consequences! :-(

HAM had to slow down to prevent to reach the safety car before it leaves the race circuit. HAM didn´t even slow down he just didn´t accelerate. FIA had analyzed all the data.
HAM is the leader in restart and he dictates the speed - only unusual breaking is forbidden.

The guys are the best drivers in the world - there is not anything done without intention.

No way,, SV lost it, it was deliberate. To him, in the heat of the moment, he just wanted to give LH a little slap ( nudge ). But, it just looked OTT for some viewers.
Anyway, makes the next races more watchable for the viewers who can take F1 or leave it..Its hotting up nicely..

KMM:Sure they are the best drivers in the world. But think about the context of the situation. I don't believe it was a calculated move. A "best driver in the world" would not risk damaging his car but pulling such a move intentionally.
Schumacher did it, now Vettel did it as well. Maybe it's human, but definitely not appropiate to say the least.

Totally agree Keith - SV knew what he was doing, even if it was instinctive! Hamilton did nothing wrong - on this occasion.
Makes the F1 season more watchable, especially if Max has no more 'freak' engine failures...

Vettel faces further punishment

10 second penalty seemed to light a punishment, especially after not only voluntarily causing an accident, and which also happened to alerter the championship in his favor and gain an unfair advantage, but on top of it lying afterwards accusing Hamilton of braking when he did not as proven by the telemetry... What a character, but vettel had always been like that when things don't go in his favor...
