First GT3 deliveries apparently started in Germany...just saying. Not sure if these are factory deliveries to dealers or already to customers but the GT3 is definitely going to be on the roads here soon.

Also: "Touring Package" is still on apparently...despite some outrage from 911 R customers. Still needs a bit development refinement though, they want to improve high speed stability.

I can see the pleasure of driving an Austin Healey with manual or maybe even a 964 RS. A modern car? Not so much, sorry.

I think most people who drove the GT4 (including myself) considered the manual shifting one of the most endearing qualities of the car.

Me too!

After 9000 km, Sun loves to gear shift in the GT4, but he hates the gear set that's so high and poorly matched [1st to 2nd truly sucks a shift he needs up and down 50 times a slam], a true miss by Porsche from what coulda been a great hillclimb/canyon slammer Smiley

He rues these gears every slam of Takaka Hill, but the rest of the. car -fits like a glove and makes him chortle with glee Smiley And jump for joy

I am hoping to get the GT3 script in the center hub painted GR. Hopefully I'll know by next week. If not, I am going to swap the silver GT3 scrip in the hub for a colored Porsche crest. The black needs some contrast.

Watt, your PDI is in Houston and not San Diego. Why is that?

Man, if the colors are not right what will you do? Oh no!

How about learning to use turn signals for this car if they are a special color for you? I would pay for that.

Just came across this video, and in it, you can see passengers sitting in the back.

At first I thought that they were sitting uncomfortably and unsafely on the rear bench, but upon reviewing the video I noticed, what may look like actual seats, and there are even seat belts!

So the touring package is indeed no fairy tale but pretty real... The car has obviously a wing, which leads me to believe that the touring pack only features rear seats and no wing delete.

Porsche has done it again. Its confirmed, no US deliveries of the GT3 until September. As I read the bulletin, it seems to say they will not start US production until September. No reason given. My dealer will updating the V status in the next couple of says. It now appears I will have a delivery date of sometime in November. surprise

My .1GT3 delivery was delayed six months and my .2 at least two months.

Porsche should provide an explanation. crying

Though the delay concerns me, at a minimum they should gives reasons for the delay. With the.1 we were told engine replacement. With the .2 delay nothing. Keep in mind that the early allocation usually went to Porsche and dealers best customers. They shouldn't be kept in the dark. enlightened

Did Ferrari give you a reason for the delay?
