No surprise. Your future C4S will struggle too. It's down to running summer tires rather than winter tires. They lose grip below about 40F.
One of the US car mags tested a number of cars available with 2wd and awd. Equiped them with summer tires and winter tires. The 2wd (fwd and rwd) with snow tires easily outperformed awd cars on summer tires.
Frankly I doubt the value of awd. In Chicago where it snows and gets down to -20F I have no problems with snow (providing the front spoiler clears it, but that would be aproblem in the C4/S also) in my C2S which gets a set of winter tires put on it every year.
Talk to someone at Porsche who REALLY understands the differences between the benefits of winter tires and awd, then decide.
As to the sunroof it's a noisy waste of money. Buy a Cab or use the A/C.
