    Look closely at the brake caliper positions in both photos. Something's amiss here! Otherwise, another great looking car from Stuttgart.

    Photoshopped and...pretty much the real thing (sorry Avoe but the 997 really looks this way, only the rear lights are a little little little bit different... ).
    Somebody asked me about the interior lately: look at the Carrera GT and you have your answer...pretty similar speedo cluster. The steering wheel and other interior designs are a bit taken from the current 996 and the Cayenne but also the Carrera GT. It looks nice and better than the current design but I still prefer something more "classic".

    By the way, i just remebered that acording to one of our magazines, the live 997 presentation to the press (not couting autoshow)is going to be in Portugal.

    Bmw did the same thing with the new Z4.As a matter of fact the road test (with that small guy) of the Z4 by Top Gear was made here.

    This picture is pretty much the same as what you see in the chopped pics except for the fact of course that it's all black.
    Note that the wheels are the same, their design is lifted straight from the CGT. Very nice. Can't wait!

    I don't think the 997 looks that bad, if you compare to the standard 996 it looks gut, BUT the only thing that I really don't like, and makes the car look old are fog lamps and blinker. They should have fit it into the oval lamps.
    Then i would be perfekt. Maybe they asked chris bangle for an advise and it goes on his cap, who knows.

    His mods make me wanna go out and buy a 2004 GT3 now rather than waiting for the 997!!! I still hope the 997 will look better in real life, Right RC?

    Other than the headlights, 997 and 996 looks the same from the exterior with minor front air intake facelift. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I guess we can't expect the same changes from 993 to 996. Regardless, looking forward to some GT3 power in a C2S.
