    It could work but, this is my best friend. I already explain to him that his wedding is on the worst possible date...
    Since he is a sportscar enthusiast as we are he know that he owns me big time!

    Do not worrie, my brother is sports journalist so, he will take lots of pics and press material as well. I will post them next week after small PS work.
    So, tomorrow we will see(I already saw it...) final R8 look and specs. I think you will agree with me that Audi did excellent "internet gorilla marketing" on R8 as well as taking the whole Paris car show for them...

    This is in my brother hands...
    Regarding R8 some other Audi forums will have direct live link tomorrow at 20.30h CET. I think this answers pretty much question who is involved directly with Audi...
    Some R8 features were great suprise for me but, I do not like some thinks about it as well...
    We will discuss it from thursday...

    Agreed.

    Eventhough the AMV8 is front-mid engined, the R8 is true mid-engined. Build quality is out of question : Audi vs Aston. The R8 also has a more powerful engine (more horsepower with slightly smaller displacement). But the AMV8, oh, so beautiful.

    Their being in the same price bracket, how to choose..how to choose..

    i was thinking about how people wonder how they can let the R8 so close to the gallardo and then i think if people got the gallardo for performance only then they might as well go for the Z06. Point being people will buy the gallardo because they want a lamborghini not because it is good performance for the money. Its the overall package...

    I know the shape of the headlights in the Road and Track pic above is wrong, but I hope the housing would look something like that.

    Agreed about the R8 vs Gallardo, and 2007/2008 will see a facelifted G with direct-injection 5.2L V10, to make room for a V10 R8 (or R10) with slightly less horsepower..
