    Release date for the 997TT Cab

    Hi everybody,

    I did a quick search for the release date of the TT Cab and the only thing that I could get were vague answers. Its been 3 months since the first delivery of the TT and I am hopping that by know someone would have a more accurate release date for the Cab version. And, please, can someone confirm that the power kit and the sport exhaust will be available at the launch of the car.

    Since I made my decision to upgrade from my 997S Cab I have been looking at the competition. I went to see Aston Martin DB9 Cab and boy what a sexy car, it just look perfect from every angle. but I decided to stick to the TT cab for two reasons:

    1. The AM dont have the balls to back up its look.
    2. I heard horror stories about its reliability.

    Any input is greatly appreciated. Rennteam is great place to get the latest info and I have to admit that without this forumm and its community I would be lost, so thanks to all of you .

    If its anything like the release of the 996 TT CAB your looking at 2 years from the Coupe being released, which would be June 2008. If your going to get the 997 TT CAB you had better be dialed in at your dealer or you could wait a long time after release before you get one.

    Guesstimate (for whatever reason I keep being correct)- Shown at Geneva then NY Auto Show April 2007.

    I'm 1st car on my dealer's list.

    Looks good to me. The 997 turbo makes for a great looking cabriolet. Can't wait.

    Can you put PCCB's on it?

    Any idea if it will have the 7-speed DSG tranny???? I'm assuming it will be released as an '08 model.

    There are many things wrong with this photoshop and the driver missing is just one. I should leave the photoshopping to Vlad !

    Thanks Rhino for the fotoshop . The car looks good in cab version. My only problem is the slightly bling wheels, I hope that Porsche will offer alternative designs soon.
