She's Almost Home

Well at first I had no problem with the wait but now it's a diferent story. I put the deposit down in early June and placed the order in late July for a September build. Now the ship should make port in Halifax NS anyday and then she makes the final leg of the journey to my dealer in Toronto. She'll be Black over Natural Grey with the 6 speed. I've been waiting a long time to put a 911 Turbo in the garage so this day will be pretty special. Oh yeah and did I mention the wait is really starting to get to me.

I've really been missing my '03 M5 for the last few weeks but I'm sure the TT will take care of that problem in short order.

Congratulations, Terk! She's almost home! Mine is not expected to arrive until late October/early November so it's still "on schedule" so far.

The ship docked yesterday and PDI was completed today. Just waiting for transport to the dealer. Won't be long now. The cheshire cat smile is now permenant.

Hang in there good buddy! These last days seem to go on forever. Picking up mine tomorrow.

At least we'll be having fun while we are in the next waiting period, getting through break-in!

Thanks Ken and congrats for tomorrow. Hopefully you've cleared your weekend for some extended seat time. Not sure which waiting is the lessor of two evils.... don't answer that as car in hand wins regardless of the restrictions.
