DB9 road test

Autoexpress has driven the DB9:

"The 6.0-litre V12 barks into life and settles into a rumble that makes it sound more powerful than an F1 racer, even at idle. Open the throttle and the growl was enough for a farmer on our route to complain it was upsetting his pigs."

Ferrari, you should be ashamed of yourself with your ugly Scaglietti

Scaglietti or DB9? The Aston, thank you very much, and I'll have a Boxster S with the prive difference

I know, the 612 is a better performer, but those cars are about much more than performance.
BTW, the Vanquish is getting a revamp for this year, minimum 500 hp and the same centre console as the DB9.
I saw one in Aberdeen yesterday, how the hell did they manage to pass noise regulation??? this car sounds orgasmic!

no doubt about the beauty of the DB9!
i love this car!

but IMO it's not really competing with the 612 scaglietti (which is btw also beautiful to my eyes).

the bentley conti GT should watch out!

if you want grunt, you'll probably order a delimited CL55/65 AMG.

if you demand a great british badge and lots of style, you'll opt for the aston.

i've heard that the bentley is selling very well right now, but for how long?

The Vanquish passes noise regulations because it has a valve in the exhaust that closes between 1000-4000 rpm when the throttle is depressed lightly.
