Hey, thought you guys would enjoy these pics of my car taken by Lussos of Ferrari of Long Island.
I'd vote for your own 2nd pic actually
Great looking car, especially with those massice CCMs Now finish the and put some miles on her
I like pic No. 1 best.
You got to clean the exhaust tips BTW.
Hey buddy.
What do you use to clean the exhaust tips? Something like a fine polish? Usually my sports cars are clean as clean can be but been so busy driving the car haven't had time to really go over her. After this weekend & the run on Sunday she's a dirty girl.
Hi STRADALE (got to change you nick now, eh? ),
I've got a special paste to clean metallic surfaces, but to be honest I don't see much difference if I use it or just clean the tips with a cloth. I also don't think they get too dirty, as some chaps at Fchat claim. Biggest problem at the F430 exhaust IMO is the condensed water, that is black from the exhaust fumes and unfortunately drops right onto the car body beneath the tips. (just have a look at your pic )
Not sure what I should do about my nick. Guess I'll just leave it.
Thanks. Yeah I saw that stuff too. I haven't cleaned it off yet I was going to wait till I wash the car, the stuff doesn't stain the paint does it?
Hey, check out this invitation I got: I go every year, it's about 2 miles from my home. The P4/5 will be there.
Very nice invitation you got there! Would love to go there too!
Concernig the paste I don't know if it stains the paint, but OTOH I haven't used it on the paint yet.
Anyway, I really think you can clean your exhaust tips without any special device, just use the equipment you normally use for your car wash. I also like the different shades the tips get due to the heat, looks "used" in the right way and not that sterile after cleaning with special machines, pastes etc.
