It was the Bullrun - some kind of copy of Gumball. Personally, I didn't find their driving really dangerous most of the time, although some situations did have me raising an eyebrow very high indeed (missing a car by inches is one of them).

That is what we who drive performance cars in the US get irritated about. We call them road hogs and they sit in the 3rd lane going slow forcing you to pass on the inside. Average american drivers are inconsiderate and uneducated in proper driving.
I don't believe you would see that on the autobahn

There was an incident a couple of years ago. Search Google for "Turbo Rolf". A Mercedes factory driver came behind a woman in some small vehicle. She was hugging the left lane on a three-lane highway, doing about 100 km/h and he came up behind her doing 250 km/h. When she saw a big, black Mercedes CL closing in on her, braking, she swerved off the road and hit a tree, killing herself and her baby in the back seat. The car never stopped. He was never proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt (the witnesses saw a black Mercedes, but that was it), but the media convicted him and the female judge, totally incompetent it seems, bowed to the pressure and convicted him to two years in prison (might be off with the figure). He also lost his license and got fired by MB. So yes, it also happens elsewhere, but luckily it's rare. I did however have to brake in an emergency once when a VW Golf cut me off while I was doing 280 km/h in a C4S. I skidded to a near halt, doing only about 100 km/h and the guy didn't even notice I was there

Too much speed for that traffic..! Honestly I would have a hard time going those speedsin - especially in the US - with drivers around me doing misc. things, e.g. talking, eating... Talking on the mobile phone without a hands-free device in Europe is massively forbidden, any news on that in North America?

You are absolutely right that the media, namely the yellow press, massively contributed to the condemnation.
As far as I know he ended up with a one-year probation in court of appeal. I have my doubts about his guilt, especially after a very extensive and informative report on ARD first channel.

Boys , whats amazing about that ? , any of us can drive like that..Too many chances taken throughout the video , its pricks like these that end up killing someone and not themselves..
