+++ Try the adaptive sports seats. The side bolsters provide good lateral support on the track and they allow the GT3 to function as a dual-purpose track and everyday car. Plus ASS are very comfortable, but they are heavier than sports seats and racing buckets.

+++ Why are you paying extra for SCP (the Wart?) The GT3 has the wart-free sport function as standard.

+++ Choose the options that you want and customise your car to your taste and driving style. Hard core is great on the track but less easy to live with every day in all situations.
The 997 GT3 is perhaps most significant in that it increases both performace and everyday useability (over the 996 GT3) at the same time. This hard-to-atain blend is the essence of Porsche success.

My GT3 spec for a dual-purpose track and long-distance all-season car would be:
Atlas grey/black
PCCB
Xenon lights
Adaptive sports seats (these seats extend the versatility and comfort of the car significantly compared to race buckets and make the GT3 a user-friendly everyday car - as well as a track star. If I wanted a single-purpose hard-core track car, I would get the RS).
Heated seats
PCM Navigation
Yellow seat belts
Floor mats
Alu foot rest
Atlas grey/black
PCCB
Xenon lights

you have the right specs... leave it as is... you lucky bastard! trading my 997 C2S Cab. for a similar GT3 as soon as I cash in on my next bonus... we'll be waiting for pics. and driving impressions in November! don't get to busy with your new car and forget about the rest of us :-)

Carbon seats bit the bullet, tryed the adaptive sports seats and they didn't give enough support for track days

Sports Chrno plus got rid of that, thanks for the advice
no heated seats as can't get them on buckets
sound package plus
bi-xenons
factory collection.
Total cost...Pounds93K OUCH!
My car is one of the first 2 at Porsche London arriving Nov. Now very excited.
