Carrera Sunrise
I just drove the Blue Zoomer from Saint Petersburg to Dallas and back. I took this shot just before sunrise on my way out of Florida.
I kept to the US and State highways as much as possible. At 11 months and nearly 9,000 miles the X51 C2S is driving stronger than ever. Unfortunately, passing through Mibile, AL on the way home, a 2"x4" flew off a lumber truck and took out my right outside mirror. So she's going into the shop tomorrow for a new mirror and her one year service.
After almost one year I have absolutely no complaints with this car. Nothing, turbo or no, can tempt me away from this machine.
I made it back from Dallas (1,160 miles) in one day. The car just seems to really like 3,400 RPM.
And, btw, if you ever get a chance to drive US 45 in eastern Mississippi, do it. This deserted four lane highway through the middle of nowhere is clearly a major piece of pork barrel spending. I like to call it "Pork for my Porsche."
Cheers,
Josh
