R8 pricing

Lots of talk and pics of the R8 about at the moment.. Does anyone have any idea of expected pricing of the different engines????

The 4.2 v8 from the RS4, I'm guessing will be the cheapest and possibly around Pounds60k????? Any ideas anyone?

Its a stunning car and if the price is right I'd like to get my name down on the waiting list

My dealer rated Pounds70-75k for the V8, Pounds85k for the V10....

Here we go...
Around 95000Euro in Germany as a start. Pretty good standard equipment...
But, you can reach around 110000Euro with some nice options(Ceramic brakes, B&O sound system, etc.)!
If you ask me I think that this is the righ price because it will be cheaper(base price) then BMW M6, Aston Martin V8 Vantage or Porsche 997 Carrera S with similar specs.
BTW, one of my friends just bought Carrera S coupe with some options, price? 122000Euro in Germany!!
IMHO R8 price range is just right...

So its going to sit somewhere around the Carrera S then... No real suprise there I suppose.

Will be interesting to see how it compares dynamically to the Gallardo... There must be a hell of a lot of component sharing going on there... I would expect it be a little less extreme....

Anyone know what the UK lists are like?

My dealer has deposits for 4 V8s and 1 V10 on their books, rate they can cover all the V8s at the launch in June. It'll be interesting to see how they will then 'control' the release of the cars going forward.. will we see long waiting lists like Porsche et al (in the UK at least)

When I spoke to an Audi dealer a couple of months ago I was told the car was going to cost around 90k.
