A mid-80's example of the same name that I drove was positively scary at the limit (weird over-steer).
How does your edition compare?
This yellow one is one of the "final edition" cars , these came with a new suspension set-up with new Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. It drives very comfortable for such an exotic car. I haven't driven the car beyond 100mph , I am still breaking it in. Have 1450 miles so far. It is now 2 years old so you could say it is a garage queen.
I have never reached the limit of the car as I hardly drive it but I know It drives very different compared to an 80's Esprit.
This specific car is the very last to come down the line so I treat it with great care as it is unique.
