    Has anyone retrofitted illuminated carbon door sills?

    Hey guys, I was wondering if you any of you have, or know anyone who has, retrofitted illuminated insigna carbon door sills. Do any of your dealers have them in stock? I highly doubt they'd be instock, and I'm having trouble ordering them out of Germany. Then again I've only asked one guy in parts at the local dealer, so mabey thats' where the problem lies.

    Was wondering if you guys had any info. Thanks in advance. Happy driving.

    I am in the same situation as you, i.e. the CXD option was not enabled for North America until recently (after my build date of June 28). The local dealer in Victoria,British Columbia has retrofitted a Cayenne previously. The wiring was in place in the rocker panel and led to a seamless install.
    Barrier Porsche in Bellevue, Washington informs me that the carbon fibre illuminated sills can be ordered from PCNA by the dealer emailing a request to Atlanta along with the VIN#. They expect delivery in about 2 or 3 months after the request is acknowledged.
    Hopefully this lead is accurate and the carbon packages can be complete with the installation of the illuminated carbon sills.
