Adaptive sports seats?

I've been posting a bunch about my upcoming allocation (questions) and thanks to all who've helped. I'm down to one question, sports seats or not? My current Turbo has regular seats and I've been fine with them. I also sat in the sports seats at my dealer and they felt a bit constricting (I know that's part of the point...). I guess I'm looking for any opinions pro- or con-. Thanks.

Try before you buy, including whoever else will be either driving or passenger in your car. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks as some people love the sports seats (I do) others don't (She Who Must Be Obeyed didn't).
So guess what seats we are having in our next car

Any She-thing can be tamed. You just gotta acknowledge that you are a man and she isn't. All her balls are fake, simply inspired by the fact that you never expressed interest to be the HWMBO. Just order your seats and don't put much into the whining and threats she might serve. Real men drive Porsches and real men don't let the Mrs. tell them what to do, or they at least stop letting them dictate after they order the Adaptive sports seats

I got wifey a She Who Must be Obeyed sweat shirt a few years ago. How many members here know the TV show that came from?
BTW, get the adaptive sports seats. The side bolsters are adjustable.

adaptive, heated only way to go. adjustable side bolsters insure lots of adjustment. i've found them very comfortable after several hours of driving, i.e. pain free.

it is essential that all who are to use the car to try before you buy - some shapes suit sports seats and some don't.

I agree wirh roadtrip, the adaptive sport seats are good for daily use and trips. I don't have more than 2 hours straight but no problems, and I have a very bad back.

I have adpt on my 997S cab and ordered it on my upcoming TT. comfort wise I thought sport seat was very comfortable and comparable to ADPT. I only ordered ADPT for the look of it, specially the wings on the upper part. If you stand outside in front of the car with ADPT seat and look at the seats and compre it to SPRT seat you will know what I am talking about. The wings on the upper part of the seat make the car look so much better. The adjustment are just OK and not really needed for me.
