EnglishManInNY:That sucks. The concept looked amazing. A Lamborghini needs to look out there. What's the point otherwise.
They had to make a few adaptations. I saw the final front of the car, it looks typical Lamborghini (and unusual for a SUV). The rear? I don't have a clue. Sideline? Judging from the camouflage, more streamlined than on the concept.

I have big hope for the URUS design. Pics might look weird but as long as it has a unique sporty presence in real life, they will have a winner on their hands.
What I am hoping for is a Macan size (maybe lower) with handling and hp above Cayenne TTS for the price of a Panamera TTS, an exotic look and a stunning interior with performance close to Panamera TTS.

Urus is as big as the Cayenne and handling will be very similar the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S (hybrid version of the Urus). As far as I heard (rumors) of course...

SciFrog:Thanks RC. Sounds good as long as it is at least as low as the Macan. PDK hopefully too.
Does the Cayenne have PDK? The hybrid version (similar to Cayenne Turbo S ) does not get a PDK-like tranny, not so sure about the V8 Biturbo but I'm afraid...
Does it really matter? I don't know. The auto tranny in the C63 S AMG Cab I drove was excellent, even in manual mode. At the same time, the auto tranny in the GLC43 was the crappiest auto tranny (mostly in manual mode) I ever drove.

Why can't Porsche put a PDK in the Cayenne since Bentley was able to stick one in the monstrous GT...don't tell me, cost saving exercise as usual or stick it in the .2 in a couple of years to be sincere I'm sick and tired of their obvious scam tactics The whole brand has become a rip-off
Seems to have something to do with the AWD system used in the Cayenne...
Btw: Just came off the phone with a buddy who claims that the Urus V8 Biturbo (first version of the car) gets some sort of DCT, so maybe I was wrong.

Italo:heard its going to be as big as or even bigger than the current Q7, think LM002 size
Think new Cayenne size with a slightly smaller trunk.

Italo:RC:SciFrog:I hope it is no bigger than a Macan
Cayenne size...with less trunk space
Its definitely bigger than the Cayenne trust me
No, it isn't. It may look that way because of the coupe rear but it isn't.
As a hint: Audi is responsible for SUV development, incl. the Urus.

RC - you might be wrong with this information. As per my infos, the Urus will be the biggest in its class. It will be bigger than the concept we did see. Lambo recognized that people look for something "mean", the feedback on the concept was "too small, to un-spectacular". So think of the old Lambo Brutus in size and put a modern body on it.
Let us suprise, I would bet that it is bigger than the Cayenne
That spyshot from noone1 makes it look like you might be able to put two cases of wine in the back of it. Maybe.
At that point what exactly is the point of an SUV? I went down to the US to watch a NFL game last week-end with 3 friends and went in one of their SUVs a new Dodge Durango R/T. I certainly would never buy one but it fit four full sized guys, week-end bags & misc items PLUS 19 cases of wine in it without us feeling crowded (though you couldn't see out the back window).
