After stating that he was going to "annoy everyone" at Monaco, here's JB passing Hamilton in practice:

Superb move Jenson..
Unfortunately, it's not going to happen again in the race proper..

What a farce, KR was leading w/o any problems and "suddenly" Ferrari calls him in with no reason for his pit stop!
"Lets move SV for the championship"
Very bad pit stop strategy from VB, DR and MV, great race & tactics from LH, he made most out of his crapy qualifying position...
There is someone winning Indy 500 in a Honda that races F1 before. Bad luck for Alonso on the engine blowing up.
Perhaps McLaren should put Alonso in a bicycle and race those. For sure there won't be a Honda engine to fail. And McLaren did design and built a winning bike for Mark Cavendish to win the Tour de France!

Was showing great form, led the race many laps, managed his pace throughout, the yellows after the red did not help him and lost about 5 virtual places from that, but was still up there with 100% chances, but just when he was getting to the final sprint, his engine blows up ... I have to admit did not surprise me at all though, just a normal day at the office

For anyone who didn't watch the Indy 500 live - this crash happened while Alonso was leading the race.
I've no idea how it didn't lead to a fatality - perhaps the most horrific crash I've ever seen live...

Whoopsy:Mighty impressive on how Alonso ran Indy. Perhaps he should consider a full time move.
He has been offered to come back next year and do the whole championship... if next year in F1 looks as bleak as this one I would do it if I were him. He doesn't need the money since he is still the most paid driver in F1, and he doesn't have many years left in peak form. He needs to come back to being able to fight to win, if he still doesn't have the car to do it in F1, why not Indy... the fans really welcomed him at Indy500, though sometimes it was as if the other 32 drivers didn't exist which is not fair, but that is probably the first year only.
