    After 18 years of dreaming...

    Finally, after 18 years of dreaming and saying "One day, I will..."

    In october, I am expecting delivery of my first Porsche:

    - 997 Carrera 2
    - GT Silver
    - Sea Blue leather interior
    - PASM
    - 19" Carrera Classic Wheels
    - Xenon
    - Navigation module
    - Phone module
    - Cruise control
    - Self-dimming mirrors + rain sensor
    - Rear wiper
    - Sport shifter

    Best regards from Belgium from a 36-year old kid

    Cool man ! I have been waiting for such a long time. Just sold my 330. Was going to go for the cayman S but finally I cant have anything less than the 997 S !! I shall wait a bit longer. I am thinkning to order it in Baltic blue (special order) and then wait gor about 6 months for delivery.....
    I will probably order in the end of December!

    activa, congratulations on the order. You will NOT be dissapointed!

    For me too the P car was a childhood dream... when the dream became a reality it exceeded my expectations in many ways.

    Now the wait begins... enjoy it as its part of the experience.

    Thanks for the kind words. Although I have driven a 911 a few times before, I just can't imagine what it would be like to actually own one... I just can't wait.

    I suppose I can always add that later. It's a pretty expensive option, so I had to make some (hard) choices.

    I'm from the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. I doubt that I will have the car by October 15th, but you never know of course

    Well, come to think of it, you're probably right.

    I'm sure they sell more porsches in the north, there's only 1 dealer in the Brabant Wallon and except for the one in Brussels (drogenbos), all the other dearlers are up noth where the money is

    Congrats activa.

    BTW, maybe you didn't think of it, so I'll mention it: sport chrono. Maybe not as useful as on an S as the c2 doesn't have PASM. But It might interest you, except for the silly stop watch.

    I love the GT Silver

    I bought mine used (06 C2S with 2500 miles) and ended up with Actric Silver. You will enjoy the car.
